Every Mac accumulates system caches, old logs, forgotten downloads, and leftover app data over time. The built-in macOS storage management tools offer limited visibility and cleanup options. We built MacFreeup to give Mac users a fast, transparent way to reclaim disk space and keep their machines running at peak performance.
What MacFreeup Does
MacFreeup is a Mac cleaner and storage optimizer that scans your system for junk files, redundant caches, large forgotten files, and unused applications. It provides clear storage analytics so you know exactly where your disk space is going — and lets you clean it up in one click.
Key capabilities include:
- System junk cleanup — removes caches, logs, temporary files, and Xcode derived data
- Memory optimization — frees up inactive RAM for better multitasking on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs
- Large file management — finds oversized and duplicate files consuming disk space
- Complete app uninstallation — removes apps and all associated leftover files

Our Approach

Compatibility
MacFreeup runs natively on macOS 10.12 (Sierra) through macOS Sequoia. It supports both Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4) and Intel processors without Rosetta translation.
